PLACING AN ORDER

An order is placed via email at [email protected] a member of our team will respond to you within 8 hours and process your booking or event.
 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once an order has been placed via email to [email protected] a team member from AMA Hospitality will then accept your order notifying you via email or phone within 8 hours. At this stage you will be notified if any further delivery charges apply. Only once you have this notification is your order confirmed.
 

HOW CAN I REVIEW MY ORDER?

Once your order has been processed you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. To see the order history email us to [email protected] and a member of our team will assist with your enquiry.
 

LAST ORDERS

Order for Monday, cut off is 3pm Thursday. Order for Tuesday, cut off is 3pm Friday. Order for Wednesday, cut off is 3pm Monday. Order for Thursday, cut off is 3pm Tuesday. Order for Friday, cut off is 3pm Wednesday.

Last minute orders past the cut of period may be accepted, subject to availability. Please contact us immediately on 0416 724 682 or 0451 922 119 so we can assist you.

Requests that are sent through after business hours will be viewed the following morning. Late orders are accepted based on availability and may not have a choice of all menu items. Late orders accepted after 5pm may be subject to a 10% surcharge.
 

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

AMA Hospitality staff and suppliers prepare all food in accordance with the Food Standards set by Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (FSANZ).

The AMA Hospitality kitchen and equipment used within may contain traces of nuts, egg, dairy, gluten, and other known allergens. Although all care is taken by AMA Hospitality to ensure these items are contained, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements will be met. Whilst we understand the serious implications of reactions to allergens and will take appropriate precautions to avoid contamination, AMA Hospitality will not accept responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction to any of our food by any Client or guest.

A special diets list will be provided to the Client where the Client can stipulate allergens to be avoided. AMA Hospitality does not label any allergens at catered functions or events. For extreme allergies, special arrangements must be discussed with your AMA Hospitality contact and may incur an additional charge. Clients must inform of any guests who have serious food allergies, that they will be able to bring their own allergen-free food in some circumstances. Please check with your AMA Hospitality contact upon booking and they will inform the Catering staff of this arrangement.
 

MENU SELECTIONS

All food and beverage menus and selections are subject to change due to seasonality and availability of produce. If a substitution needs to be made an AMA Hospitality representative will provide options and get client approval prior to making a change.
 

MENU SELECTION & CONFIRMATION

A minimum amount of guests/quantity of items may apply to some orders or menu items. Should your anticipated numbers reduce, AMA Hospitality reserves the right to apply the minimum as outlined in the menu.

Staffing costs may be incurred for some events. Confirmation of any changes in numbers must be received in writing with sufficient notice to allow production to accommodate that change without wastage costs for AMA Hospitality.

All numbers confirmed 48 hours prior to the catering event day will be regarded as the minimum number for catering and charging purposes. After this date increases can be accepted but no decreases.

AMA Hospitality will not be held liable for the health and safety of our customers for any food removed from a venue or consumed more than 30minutes after the specified service time as concluded. AMA hospitality discourages its guests from transporting food away from the event location. Improper handling of food may lead to food poisoning and other health hazards. However, AMA Hospitality recognizes that for special reasons a guest may request food to be taken away from the event location. In this case a food wavier policy form must be completed prior to the preparation and service.
 

LIQUOR LICENSE

UNDER THE LIQUOR ACT 2007 IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO SELL OR SUPPLY ALCOHOL TO, OR TO OBTAIN ALCOHOL ON BEHALF OF, A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS.

AMA Hospitality supports the responsible service of alcohol.

If you look under 25 you will be asked to present valid photo identification. We will not serve intoxicated persons.

The NSW & Victoria Liquor Act 2007 (Liquor Act) prohibits the sale of liquor to persons under the age of 18 years. When placing an order, you will be asked to confirm that you are 18 years of age or over and to supply your date of birth. It is a condition of purchase that you verify that you are 18 years of age or over and that all the details that you have provided in completing the order and the offer to purchase the liquor are true and correct. If you do not confirm that you are 18 years or over, your order will not be processed.
 

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

AMA Hospitality reserves the right to put companies or individuals on credit hold for outstanding invoices.

Should catering be cancelled, the following conditions apply: 

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery will not be refunded. 
  • Cancellations made outside of 24 hours and under 48 hours with a value of less than $500 can receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made outside of 24 hours and under 48 hours with a value of more than $500 will receive a 50% refund.
  • All cancellation requests for Monday orders must be received no later than 3pm the Friday prior.
  • Formal dining and buffets will require 72 hours’ notice for postponements and cancellations.

DELIVERY & FEES

AMA Hospitality deliveries are available to all the departments within 2CS, 3PS and 10 Carrington Street Sydney.   

Free delivery applies Monday to Friday for all Internal NAB accounts.   

Delivery fees of $180 applies for 3PS.   

Please note we do not allow pick-ups from our kitchen.
 

STAFF HIRE

If you would like your event/function to be serviced, we have highly trained and experienced wait staff available. Staff rates are charged on a minimum of four hours, An AMA Hospitality function supervisor needs to attend all functions and events offsite. Any additional hours worked by the staff at your event as a result of changes to the planned run of events, equipment at venue, hired in or supplied by client or by circumstances out of our control will be charged to the client post event.

Booking of any staff must be made 5 days ahead of any event. Cancellation of any staff must be made 24hrs prior to event to receive full removal of fees.
 

PRICE VARIATIONS

Every endeavour will be made to maintain prices as stated; however, these are subject to change due to seasonal availability of products.
 

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF AMA HOSPITALITY

If AMA Hospitality is unable to provide the facilities or any other arrangements for your delivery or event or any part thereof, or to otherwise perform the terms of this agreement and AMA Hospitality’s failure is due to circumstances beyond its decision or control, AMA Hospitality is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur.
 

TERMINATION

AMA Hospitality reserves the right to cancel a delivery or event if:

  • The proposed venue or any part of the venue is closed due to circumstances outside AMA Hospitality’s control. 
  • The client/hirer does not comply with any of the terms and conditions set by AMA Hospitality.
     

CONSENT, GOVERNMENT TAXES, CHARGES OR LEVIES

Rates / Prices are subject to change without notice due to the imposition of Government taxes, charges or levies.
 

JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions and any contract to which they apply shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales and Victoria and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and Victoria.
 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Final invoice will be sent the day after your event. Payment is required within 5 business days from the issued invoice.
